What it means
A request for more time to reply or to submit documents. Ask in writing before the original deadline expires and give a short reason — many authorities grant it routinely. Once the deadline has already passed, you usually need the much harder route of Wiedereinsetzung instead.
طلب مهلة إضافية للرد أو لتقديم المستندات. قدّم الطلب كتابيًا قبل انتهاء المهلة الأصلية مع ذكر سبب وجيز، وكثير من الجهات توافق عليه دون تعقيد. أما بعد فوات المهلة فستحتاج غالبًا إلى الطريق الأصعب وهو "Wiedereinsetzung".
