What it means

Bürgergeld is the basic income support (formerly Hartz IV) paid by the Jobcenter to people who can work but cannot cover their living costs; it includes the Regelbedarf plus rent and heating. Apply at your local Jobcenter — benefits start from the month of application, not earlier. You must cooperate (Mitwirkungspflicht): attend appointments and report every change in income or household.

إعانة المواطن (Bürgergeld) هي الضمان الأساسي (سابقاً Hartz IV) الذي يدفعه مركز العمل (Jobcenter) للقادرين على العمل الذين لا يستطيعون تغطية تكاليف معيشتهم؛ وتشمل الاحتياج الأساسي إضافةً إلى الإيجار والتدفئة. قدّم الطلب في مركز العمل المحلي — تبدأ الإعانة من شهر تقديم الطلب وليس قبله. عليك واجب التعاون (Mitwirkungspflicht): احضر المواعيد وبلّغ عن كل تغيير في الدخل أو الأسرة.
