What it means
Naturalisation — becoming a German citizen. The standard requirements are five years of lawful residence, German at B1 level, passing the Einbürgerungstest, a secured livelihood and no serious criminal record; since the 2024 reform, dual citizenship is generally allowed. Apply at your local naturalisation office and expect processing to take many months.
التجنيس، أي الحصول على الجنسية الألمانية. الشروط الأساسية هي خمس سنوات من الإقامة القانونية، وإتقان الألمانية بمستوى B1، واجتياز اختبار التجنيس، ودخل مؤمَّن، وسجل خالٍ من الجرائم الجسيمة، ومنذ إصلاح عام 2024 صار الاحتفاظ بالجنسية الأصلية مسموحًا به عمومًا. قدّم الطلب لدى دائرة التجنيس المحلية وتوقّع أن تستغرق المعالجة شهورًا طويلة.
