What it means
An official certificate from the Bürgeramt confirming your registered address, often required by banks, employers, embassies or for getting married. Order it at the Bürgeramt or online for a small fee, usually 5-10 euros. Do not confuse it with the Anmeldebestätigung you received when you first registered.
